I was just reading through A. L. de Sauveterre's Harry Potter and the Society of Orpheus and Bacchus on the old Quill and relishing it - what a perfect fan fiction ( www.sugarquill.net/read.php?storyid=191&chapno=1), what a delightful and intriguing yarn! And every scene makes it clear that the author's got oodles planned ahead. However, I try to savor it because I know it stops short at chapter 26. I lament this. I wonder if there is anywhere on the Internet that has the complete story, or if this is merely a masterpiece of a Dead Fic. Perhaps more helpfully, I wonder if A.L. de Sauveterre did not eventually venture forth onto her own site and start publishing - maybe not Harry Potter fic, but perhaps fic of other series I enjoy. Maybe she has even explored original fiction? Either way, I would love to find her again. And there's plenty of other authors to whom this applies. Anyone know what became of Katinka? JK Ashavah? Even the pillars Arabella and Zsenya? Where are they now, online? Could I find their words in a bookstore near me? What do you know of any post-SQ careers of your favorite Quiller authors? Let's pool our knowledge!

JK Ashavah and I still talk on LJ and IM. She's really not into HP anymore, but she still writes fanfics, and she's still very much into OCs.
I think some of the "Great Ficcers" still write, and I know a few have been published. Others probably just did it as a hobby - there's a lot of people like that, actually.
