Actually I think Victoire was born in around either 1998 or 1999. Her name means 'Victory,' and I think she was named in honor of... well... the huge victory they had just celebrated. Fleur was either pregnant at the time of the Final Battle (call it what you will) or shortly afterwards.

Definitely wasn't 1998 as that's when the war was. It was 1999 (or given that she was in school at the end of DH) 2000.

Yes I think she would have to be seventeen or eighteen by the time of the epilogue at the most for her to be still attending Hogwarts as is implied. The Lexicon claims she was born on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts May 2nd, which means 2000 otherwise I think she would have already have graduated, unless she's there to see off younger sisters and cousins at least that is how I read the numbers.

The epilogue takes place September 1, 2017. So if she was born in May 2, 20000, that would make her a seventh year. So that works. I definitely don't think she was pregnant in the final battle, or Bill would have said something.

Fleur could have been pregnant and not known it yet, or have not told Bill - but obviously that's not how it fell out.

Victoire was born on the anniversary of the battle - that's why she is named Victoire. So there's no way that Fleur could have been pregnant when we last saw her which I believe was at the battle.

I agree, I don't think she was pregnant yet, she was still at Hogwarts in the epilogue too, so I say 2000 or 2001, as she was dating Teddy who was 19

There's also the possibility that Victoire and her siblings' educations have not been entirely Hogwarts-based. Fleur is clearly so proud of her French heritage (being the champion of Beauxbatons and all), maybe she and Bill sent the children to study their first, say, three years of magic at Beauxbatons, and their last four at Hogwarts. The difference in the schools (say if Beauxbatons admits children from the age of twelve up, instead of eleven up) could possibly mean that Victoire is still a Hogwarts student, although the oldest person in her year.
I've probably overthought this...

If Harry wanted to honor Dumbledore so much, maybe he should've taken the less overt statement and named his son Brian Severus Potter. Kid would probably be a bit better-adjusted.

Given that we're talking about wizards, Brian would probably be a weirder name than Albus.
Actually, Albus was probably a rather popular name after Dumbledore's death, much like Harry's might be.

I think Brian is a great name, actually. It would go better with James and Lily, as well. I hadn't thought that maybe there are a lot of Albuses wandering around thanks to Dumbledore's death but I think most people would give that as a middle name not a first one.
