I feel like a bad admin... I haven't properly welcomed anyone in a while! (Okay, largely due to the fact that college has held me prisoner...) So, anyone who wasn't welcomed by me, welcome! I'm seeing a lot of names from Sugar Quill and other places, and I'm glad you found your way here.

Seriously though, welcome to The Whomping Willow!

Frankie, welcome! I'm pleased to see a fellow Illinoisian and a Chicagolander.
Have you seen the HP exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry yet? My tickets are for August--that was the soonest everyone in my family who wanted to go could guarantee they'd be free.

Hi! I've been a bad board member, joining up and then never posting! But never mind that now. I'm here. Some of you might remember me from the Quill, though I was never one of the more vocal posters.
Anyway...Hi! It's great to be here!

Hi, Azaelia! It's fine that you haven't posted, but I am of course glad that you finally have! I certainly remember you from SQ. You posted a lot in the Breaches of Etiquette thread, right?

Moved from Fireplace: Hello! I am new here. i am a 31-year-old teacher from Sweden. I first read Harry Potter earlier this year and now I can´t understand how I survived all those years before! I have got three children, two of them are twins, and sometimes I feel like Mrs Weasley who cooks for all those boys and takes cares of her family... Welcome, mollyweasley! I have actually had the pleasure of going to Sweden... it is a very lovely place. I'm sure with three boys, two of them twins, you do feel like Molly. However, that's not a always bad thing!

Hi, MollyWeasley!!! Welcome to our little forum. As a new reader, it'll be fun to discuss the books with you and see them with new eyes again! Thanks! I have read the books twice already, I my husband has grown tired of discussing them with me. (He read them all right after the releases, but I can be a bit stubborn from time to time. I liked the films, but didn´t care about the books for a long time. Odd!) I will be nice to discuss with you. I studied a literature science university course on J K Rowling´s writing this summer. I wrote an essay about gender issues in the books.

My mom had seven. We're spread out over 20 years. There's a couple of redheads in the mix, too. I really loved being one of seven and throughout my childhood I swore I would have a lot of children too. But the Army only issues a maximum of 4 bedrooms, no matter how many you have...and we wanted to put every child through university, so we stopped at two. They kept me as busy as seven though! ;D
